Launching a luggage range aimed at professional business settings.

The range has a rich monochrome look to it. That was the goal of the content - to reflect the styling in the right setting. The dark settings let the light pick up the highlights of the product in a subtle way. The monochrome look felt confident and classic, two values that the range had been designed for.

Shooting the video shots was challenging. It was just me in the showroom with one camera and one light. The main thing was stabilization - the camera had no in-body and the lenses didn’t have either. The more punched in shots were tricky due to the inherent shake. I got around this by adding weight to the camera and using the tripod handle to guide it on the slider, then shooting 10-15 takes on each set-up to use the best shot.

Interviews

There was a photoshoot happening to help get lifestyle shots with the new series. The models were inspiring individuals in business. So to go along with the launch we shared the mini-series of bite-size content on social media.
A two camera set-up meant the monochromatic art direction could really help blend the 2 shots.
